Why did you choose this SC2 race?
I played the original StarCraft and BroodWar for a long time when I was younger without ever realizing the real beauty behind the game. That all changed the first time I watch BoxeR play. Since then, I have always played Terran.
What do you do for a living?
I'm a software development engineer on the Windows Kernel team.
What do you love about your job?
I enjoy working on something that impacts so many people.
What other hobbies do you have?
Playing guitar, skiing, and charming the ladies.
Why do you play StarCraft?
StarCraft was huge for me growing up. Not only was it the first game I played seriously, it also had a huge impact on me, career-wise. During BroodWar, I participated in the modding scene as part of Camelot Systems (of StarDraft fame), and it was my first "serious" exposure to software development. But at the end of the day, I play StarCraft because I love RTS’s and StarCraft is the best RTS.
How long have you been playing?
I began playing the original when it was released, and played BroodWar up until the release of WarCraft III. I started playing SC2 during Beta.
What have you done to prepare for the momentous challenge that is the AHGL?
I’ve been playing a lot of ladder matches, eating a balanced breakfast, and I bought a shake-weight.
Who is the best player on your team? Why?
Cowsrule (Grant Watters) is the best player on the team because he is a Zerg macro beast, has superior game sense, and commands the support of America’s cattle.
